Ongoing Daoyin

This class is designed to support you in building your daoyin practice. Sessions begin with a traditional warmup before diving into a sequence of animals and elements.
Each week, we focus on a specific movement principle, like “hanging the spine” or “moving from the glutes.” We observe how this principle applies in different postures.
As you gain more fluency with the animals and elements, you can start to improvise and explore on your own. Birds will flock to your window, and poppies will spring up in your yard (results not guaranteed).
What you need: A computer or tablet/phone with internet connection. A yoga mat or a soft surface. Space to roll around!
Beginners: A few classes on the fundamentals will help smooth your transition into the ongoing class. Contact me to arrange your introduction to daoyin, or join the mailing list to find out when new intro classes are being offered.
